UPDATE: So here I am wearing them… how’d I do?

I had to. I’ve been having night sweats dreaming about this insane pair of Steve Maddens I had in high school that were the same heel and platform height, sky high, so 70s, but with braided leather. I have no idea what happened to them, but these filled the void.
And, I can be honest with you guys… Rumi made me do it. And I have a hunch her post featuring her black pair (cannot find anywhere, btw) has caused these to sell out all over the Web. I think she purposely revealed them a day at a time over the course of the weekend to tantalize us, sending everyone into a fit with the full-on shot of them today. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t slightly curious to see how your first stroll in these puppies turns out…if it were me I can guarantee I’d look like a baby giraffe taking it’s first steps! However, I’m sure you’ll pull them off much more elegantly, can’t wait to see how you style them!!

AAAAAAAAAAA!!! i got the same ones in tan too…just last week! i can’t remember whose blog i first saw them, but then i saw it on fashiontoast after i got mine. we’re supposed to get snow this week, so i won’t be rocking them any time soon, even with socks 🙁 we should coordinate a “twin day” & post us wearing the same shoes…hahaha!

Uhhh, you did buy these frankensteiny 70’s delight, as did I, and you look GREAT in them. I walked in the mall for 2 hours, got tons of compliments, and my feet were only sore where the leather part is over the toes.

I have these and every single time I wear them, I twist my ankle at least 3 times. Luckily it hasn’t sprained or worse…yet. Found them on endless and got a great deal using bing cashback.

NO! Don’t wish away your tiny feet! You can get all the best finds on ebay! EVERYONE is an 8… that’s why Gucci studded Babouska flats in my size are $800. But you can get all the great ones for cheap cheap cheap 🙂
ha, i was just googling “jessica simpson dany” and your post came up. i’m lusting after these bitches lately, and i can’t tell if it’s crazy. is it crazy?? should i?? what do you think of yours? they look hot btw, but other than that, thoughts? this is of course assuming i can find them. nothing like hopping on the bandwagon two months too late. i blame rumi for that too 🙂

I’ve been debating on whether or not to get these shoes. They are finally in stock on the Jessica Simpson website!! They are so cute, but I’m afraid they are too high and maybe uncomfortable….in your honest opinion are they worth it?

great style! how was walking in them?? I love HIGH heels(particularly Jeffrey Campbells) but always seem to fall down in them (embarrassing!) i’ve been drooling over these dany platforms for a while now and i think i might get them! but not if they are definitely too difficult to walk in…
they are pretty doable, at least compared to the new Joie boots I got—eek!
