These Hecho en Cuba CDs are incredible… Ibrahim Ferrer is a magic man. I have volumes 1-3 and I’d take a zillion more. Highly recommend them—this music makes anything festive and is completely contagious. They transport me to Coconut Grove whenever we put them on… sitting outside at sidewalk cafes having classic Cuban black bean soup with a big spoonful of sour cream on top.

it’s official. i have a girl crush and i’m outing myself. this IS the best one yet. and hat’s off on the props to good old mike&chris. i ration out a leather hoodie (i don’t care if it’s out) and a couple pairs of shoes like it’s the last loaf of bread.

love buena vista social club! i used to work in a vintage clothing store in california back in college, and we had racks and racks of those guayabera shirts, the music makes me wish i had kept a few for myself. the whole outfit is great, but i especially love the leather shorts, and the booties. 99 is a great price, are they well made?
Extremely well made. ASOS has fantastic stuff for reasonable prices, I just love it.
