Corks + Caftans

Tiger mountain peasant song.

March 11, 2011 13 Comments

[ASOS maxi skirt + Torn by Ronny Kobo vest + Shopbop hat + JCrew belt + Pati de St Barth t-shirt + Motif cuff + vintage squash blossom necklace + Dannijo messenger bag + Ugg Adirondack boots.]

I’m a huge fan of this purse so far. I need to make some holes in the strap so I can keep it from flapping between my legs and sending me face-first into the snow, but otherwise—magic, and my MacBook fits inside.

Oh, happiest of days! Despite over-imbibing with Vermont’s finest ambassador last night, I’m feeling spry and ready to hop on a plane to D.C. for the weekend to harass a friend. Rob will be in Brooklyn, so expect some cool posts next week when we’ve both recovered and assessed the extent of Eli’s massive weight gain in our absence.

Have a good weekend, dudes.

Yay! You got your bag! It looks fabulous! I’m trying to get my “boho-vibe” look going for Spring, buying pieces here and there. I want to make you proud Care Bear! 😉

    I found this bag, http://www.crowsnesttrading.com/product/12740/74

What do you think? Have a good weekend! <3

Jessi- it’s called a squash blossom necklace, and I did a LOT of hunting around to find the right one. There are all different levels of quality, style, etc. They can range from $500 to $5,000! If you get a “signed” one they are usually more expensive. I can’t remember the site it came from, but just google that and look at some Southwestern vintage jewelry sites. Ebay might have a few too, but it takes some research to make sure you’re getting a good one for your money! Good luck 🙂

This is freaking magical — I want snow! Your outfit is so pretty, I love the fringe jacket and the peasant skirt. And I wont even get started on that turquoise necklace. Amazing, just amazing! <3
