Corks + Caftans

Native American garments at the VMFA in RVA.

“If you had those little booties, would you wear them? Or just keep them and display them.”

“Wear them.”

[And you can, too—at least, their modern counterparts: House of Harlow booties at Anthro.]

Man, were they hip to the cool garments. The forefathers of fringe. Beautiful installation in the VMFA, too, with curving wood slat walls in a peaceful corner upstairs. Visit it if you’re in the Fan.

[Boots!]

There’s more, but I can’t bear to post anymore crappy iPhone photos.

Want it all.
