[Fringe + a sleek cuff and a snake ring. Sho ’nuff.]
I’ve revisited my post about Karen from Californication’s style numerous times over the years, and figured it was time to issue a solid follow-up. Expect to see some mimicry of these looks to follow; my copycatting does not limit itself to skinny frontmen.
There’s a relaxed, rock edge to all these looks I can’t help but gravitate towards: leather jackets, no-nonsense denim, masculine/feminine mixes, and super shaggy hair. And looking back, I think this choice definitely makes sense for the women of this series: tough broads who take a lot of s**t (and risks)… and have a serious handle on their own sex appeal.
So, really, who can blame Hank?
[A loose kimono robe worn as a jacket: essential. I done did that here.]
[Army jacket and jeans. We’re soul mates.]
[Leather + lace. Because there’s nothing a weighty brown belt can’t romance.]
[Rumpled linen and a scarf: menswear magic.]

[WHAT. A goat’s fur vest and leather shorts. Classic. Are you with the band? I am. I am with the band.]
[A sequined vest as essential layering.]

Let the games begin!
