A little sleepy here—posting from FL today, down for the week for what was supposed to be a surprise for my mom’s birthday, but has turned into a convenient pre-booked trip to be present for the unexpected memorial service for my grandmother, who passed in the middle of the night last week.
Hug your families. Call them, write them—whatever.
I can only hope when I go, people have as nice, interesting, and candid things to say about me as they did about her. Rock on on the other side, you starlet!
