Corks + Caftans

The reason I didn’t shop in NYC.

November 24, 2015 Leave a Comment

Pretty amazing I was able to trot by Rag & Bone multiple times while up in the city last week, while refraining from making any purchases. How, you ask?

Because THIS:
Shopbop Sale

Shopbop sale, yo! Code GOBIG15, which is great because it reminds me of my fat boyfriend with the mantra “Go big or go home,” used on special occasions, like justifying eating 3 value meals from Wendy’s the morning of Thanksgiving. Sigh.

Peep the sale deets at this link. It’s running Tuesday November 24th and will end at 11:59pm PACIFIC TIME on November 30th.

Then, peep my little photo diary of the jaunt.

So, real talk: brass fixtures are really where it’s at these days, guys.

Downstairs at the Ludlow during cocktail hour, where FYI they play Huey Lewis and the News. There’s video of me singing along, but it’s staying in the vault.

The eating of the $20 spoon at Toro NYC:

Chez Ludlow:
Where they hang Marshall speakers from the rafters. Unreal.

And you can move your remote office to a courtyard like this:

And it’s across the street from this:

Pretty solid little getaway. I’m getting good at those, it would seem.
