Corks + Caftans

Brooklyn bar hopping.

June 1, 2010 3 Comments

DuMont → Lodge

Lodge → Spuyten Duyvil

Spuyten Duyvil → Motorino Pizza → The Woods → Union Pool → Barcade

Matt proved to be a stellar guide to the borough’s watering holes. Mimosas to mason jars, incredible beers on tap and some raucous games of Asteroids. As per my original wishes, we escaped the entire weekend unscathed by hangovers. (I know.) But, I did acquire this mysterious balloon toe/club foot disease. My orthopedic salute to the Flintstones would have been funny if it wasn’t so goddamned painful. Only this morning did I see my ankle bones for the first time since Sunday. ‘Twas a small price to pay!

Wrapped it all up with some Gimme! Coffee on our way out.

To our many hosts of the weekend: thank you endlessly for an incredible time.

Drinking out of mason jars is the best! I dont know what it is about them….makes even tap water taste better.

We love Brooklyn, coming in for my birthday 6/16, doing the Brighton Beach Russian party!

Love the dress- When I lose more weight I am putting on a belt around my dresses like this! Like the ‘non-moomooish’ term used on the other post!
