[Karen Zambos Vintage Couture dress from eBay + J.Crew cardigan / crochet top from Seventh Door + Linea Pelle belt from eBay + Jessica Simpson Dany platforms]
So which is better? This dress is monstrous and ill-fitting, but completely amazing. I’d argue that every woman, no matter size or height, should own at least 5-6 of them. For me, it’s about letting go: not trying to highlight features, and not trying to downplay flaws.
Just received this top from Seventh Door and I never want to take it off. Ever. [See one of my absolute favorite bloggers wearing it her way here.]
Karen Zambos is my hero. [See two of my favorite pieces by her here (birthday dress from Rob) and here (my most action-oriented attire).] There is a massive amount of KZ on eBay, if you’re feeling like a bargain. Same goes for LP belts. Just lookin’ out for you.
Have I mentioned how outstanding the weather has been in upstate New York? 60s and sunny in the summer; sleep with the windows open at night cool… bike to work down sun-dappled streets with no deodorant cool… rub it in Florida friends’ faces cool.
Have an awesome holiday weekend.
p.s. days are winding down on the Seventh Door cuff giveaway… enter if you haven’t already!

Gorgeous as usual – have a fun-filled weekend.
Luh-huh-uve it belted with the long grey cardi. I swear, woman, you are TAUNTING me with those jessica simpson dani shoes. Do I need them? No, prolly not the most practical thing for chasing around three 2-year olds, but do I WANNNNNT them? For the love of Sherman Hensely, I do. I reallllly do.
Happy Weekend!
Merci,
Shannan
Hmm….I’m leaning towards “for work”. I love Karen Zambos, I think her pieces are amazing! 🙂
I like the after work look!
