Awesome weekend up on the mountain with both sets of parents, including a day trip over to Woodstock. Minimal mayhem in the form of my losing my shorts while running down the hill after a hike and baring 4 inches of my coin slot to the group, and Eli repeatedly hissing at the mostly deaf and completely harmless Marley. He’s such a gracious houseguest.

Much delicious wine was consumed—Luigi Bosca Malbec, Chris Ringland Ebenezer Shiraz, Block Rutherford Cabernet, Block Russian River Chardonnay, and some Cline Ancient Vines Zin—and some Gentleman Jack leftover from Christmas.

Burdens out.

Haha! Thought I was the only one that used coin slot… Looks like you had fun! I stayed in bed all weekend with a kidney infection and right now my 6 year old is about to throw our computer through the wall because PollyPocket.com isn’t working. Wait, this is your blog.

      DYING.

That might be the most hilarious comment ever.

Sorry ’bout the infection… that blows. I’ll pound this glass of wine to your feeling better!

Well I… Am buzzed frankly. Got out a nice Zaca Mesa Syrah. And don’t worry. My kids are NOT dead. In fact as I type this poetic reply I am soaking my pain and death away in the tub only to turn around to find my postal 6 year old glaring at me from the attached shower… Cheers new friend. Cheers.

Crack kills! I’m sorry that your rear was exposed, but sounds like a great trip all around. Now that I am a Northern dweller, there are signs for “Your Vermont Vacation” everywhere. May have to trek over there!

I’m relieved to hear that Milo isn’t the only sour traveler. He is still acting pissy for taking him on a plane.

How far is Saratoga from here, anyway? I can’t really comprehend how close all the states are up here. Not quite sure where I currently am.
