Corks + Caftans

The perfect day.

August 25, 2016 Leave a Comment

Last Friday I decided I needed a damned break. So we took one. We hiked out in Shenandoah on a trail I’d never heard of, but that was right across the valley floor from one of my favorite hikes since I was a little kid: Old Rag Mountain.

I’ll let the vid do the talking, but leave you with this: Get out there with someone you love. See something new. Swim in your underwear. Get your hair wet. Get winded. Drink beer in a parking lot. Feel human again.

p.s. Chad had more to say about the hike and where it is here.
